USKG GOLF TOURNAMENT #3 by Sierra 116.

USKG GOLF TOURNIE #3

On April 19th, (the day before Easter) I was about to play in my 3rd USKG golf tournament. (United States Kids Golf) Some people might call getting up at 5:30 in the morning in the rain, driving for an hour to get to a rainy golf course called Legacy on Lake Lanier, and playing in a soppin' wet tournament dedication. Some people call it plain old stupidity. At the time it seemed fun, but I proved it stupid when a super slippery pitching wedge slipped out of my hand and helicoptered into Lake Lanier. (Yes, it's still there.) Did I mention that my caddy (Dad) and I were debating on which club to use: Pitching Wedge or Sand Wedge? After my Pitching wedge flew into the water, I didn't have much of a choice; I went with the Sand Wedge. Luckily, we have enough money to replace it. And it'll be just fine. I ended up finishing just outside the top ten. (No, you couldn't get any closer) I ended up in 11th. Ultimately, I played well, but got a little unlucky on a couple of shots.
