Homeschool: week one by "Sierra 116"

This week we've started homeschool and it's pretty fun. Mom has done a lot of research and  come up with some ideas of her own. For instance, every Friday (that we don't take a field trip) we build a huge fort. ( These days are called "fort Fridays".)  Every Friday we blog and journal.  We usually get out at 12:30 every day! Throughout the week, we read a scripture verse and a poem each day (Mon.-Wed.) and on Thursday we pick one of each to copy down for grammar. This week I wrote "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."- Proverbs 1:7 for scripture, and a quote instead of a poem- "God gave us mouths that close and ears that don't- that should tell us something."- website. I'm being completely honest in this post, I kind of missed my old classmates, that was really the only downside to homeschooling. (so far)

P.S. No Homework! (usually)
